Family Intervention Center and Services was founded in 1986 with a grant from the East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital. Since its inception, FICS has successfully helped hundreds of families help their alcoholic/addicts get into treatment through a process called "family intervention." If you, or a loved one, would like assistance in planning an intervention or finding a referral for treatment, contact:
Terri Melvin, CATS, at 562-461-9446.
FICS also offers the
TIAC
(Training Institute for Addiction Counselors)
program to further our
mission.
FICS offers CEU workshops on Friday mornings.
