LAWS AND ETHICS

This course provides a student with an understanding course provides a student with an understanding of current confidentiality laws, standards of conduct and codes of ethics. 

CASE MANAGEMENT

This course examines the  process of intake and assessment, individualized treatment planning and record keeping skills. Discussions and exercise are designed to foster effective interviewing styles and models of facilitating helping groups.

SUPERVISED PRACTICUM

In conjunction with a field      placement of 255 hours, this   classroom course allows students to process their experiences as we as obtain additional supervision and training.
